1. Who we are

Good Provisions is operated by The Good Provisions Co LLC, a limited liability company based in New Hampshire. Our service is available at goodprovisions.xyz. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy mean The Good Provisions Co LLC.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, including your name, email address, and restaurant name. We collect information you import into the service, including ingredient and pricing data from supplier invoices, sales data from your POS system, and recipe information you create. We collect payment information through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles payment security. We collect usage data about how you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. We collect email messages you forward to your Good Provisions inbound address for invoice parsing.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the Good Provisions service, process your subscription and send billing communications, send transactional emails including your weekly digest, parse supplier invoices using AI to update your ingredient library, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data. We do not use your restaurant data to train AI models for sale to third parties.

4. AI and invoice processing

Good Provisions uses AI services to parse supplier invoices and assist with recipe building. When you forward an invoice to your inbound address or use AI features, relevant content may be sent to an AI provider for processing. The provider's privacy policy governs their handling of data. We do not share your personal information beyond what is necessary to process your requests.

5. Data sharing

We share your data only with service providers required to operate the service, including database hosting, application hosting, payment processing, AI features, and transactional email. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for 30 days and is then deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@goodprovisions.xyz.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and a small number of cookies required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Your password is stored as a one-way hash and cannot be recovered by us. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Database connections use encrypted channels. If you have a security concern, please email hello@goodprovisions.xyz.

9. Your rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time in Settings. You may request a full export of your data by emailing hello@goodprovisions.xyz. You may close your account at any time by emailing support or through the Settings page.

10. Donation program

Good Provisions may donate a portion of subscription revenue to hunger relief and food-access organizations. We do not share customer account data, restaurant data, or billing information with donation recipients unless you separately authorize us to do so.

11. Children

Good Provisions is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top of this page.
