Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Good Provisions service, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and The Good Provisions Co LLC. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Good Provisions is a software-as-a-service restaurant food cost and profit calculator available at goodprovisions.xyz. We provide tools for tracking food costs, recipe costing, menu pricing, sales analysis, staff scheduling, and related restaurant management functions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
3. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for a single user. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription and billing
Good Provisions is offered on a subscription basis with available plan tiers, including Core at $30 per month per location and Premium at $80 per month per location. Premium includes AI features that are not included in Core. You will be billed monthly on the date you subscribe. A 14-day free trial may be available for new accounts. After the trial period, a valid payment method is required to continue editing or adding data. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
5. Optional setup and consulting services
Good Provisions may offer optional setup, onboarding, menu costing, or consulting services for separate fees. These services are not required to use the software. Any separate service fees, scope, and deliverables will be communicated before purchase.
6. Donation program
Good Provisions may donate a portion of subscription revenue to hunger relief and food-access organizations. Donation amounts, eligible subscription types, recipient organizations, and program timing may be described on our website. Unless expressly stated, free trials do not count toward donation calculations. We may update or modify the donation program with reasonable notice.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you import or create in Good Provisions, including ingredient data, recipes, sales data, and other business information. You grant The Good Provisions Co LLC a limited licence to store, process, and display your data for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell your data. If you close your account, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You may use Good Provisions only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to the underlying systems. You may not use the service to store or transmit illegal content. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to replicate the service.
9. AI features
Good Provisions uses AI to process invoice data, assist with recipe building, and provide operational insights. AI features may require a Premium plan or other paid access. AI outputs are provided for informational purposes. You are responsible for verifying AI-parsed data — particularly ingredient costs and recipe structures — before relying on them for business decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated outputs.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be accurate in all circumstances. The financial data and calculations in Good Provisions are tools to assist your decision-making, not substitutes for professional financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Good Provisions Co LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits or business decisions made based on data in the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Good Provisions Co LLC from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Hampshire.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email if we make material changes. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
